At DEVAL, every dinner becomes an unforgettable experience where the Head Chef personally announces each course for you and gives you an insight into the background of his creations.


As with friends at home, you will be surprised with the menu presented. The Chef’s Choice menu is a true culinary revelation. We rely on purely regional products, which with extraordinary preparations become taste experiences of the extra class. The ingredients for this are carefully selected and come from local farmers and selected producers.

Similar to a theater performance you enjoy together with max. 5 other tables aisle to aisle the extraordinary flavors of the author’s cuisine. Each dish is not only prepared with love and passion by our chef Daan de Val, but also served and explained by him personally. Learn about the background and origins of his creations and experience food in a very special way as a result.

Depending on your preferences, you can choose whether you would like to enjoy the Chef’s Choice menu with meat or vegetarian.

We use only valuable products and attach great importance to sustainability. Because we want to ensure that our carefully selected ingredients do not have to be prepared unnecessarily and then wasted, we use these products exclusively on a reservation basis. Therefore, please let us know already at the time of reservation which menu sequence you prefer or which products may be included (with meat, vegetarian, pescetarian).


Our courses are a composition of selected ingredients and small details. Each component is part of the overall taste experience. Please indicate during the reservation process whether you would like to enjoy our 6-course menu sequence with or without meat (vegetarian).

You can make a reservation for 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively – the table is available to you without restriction within our opening hours in each case. Please note that delays can only be taken into account by us up to and including 15 minutes, as our chef personally presents the menu sequence to our guests together. Please refer to our cancellation policy during the reservation process.


Dogs are allowed with us and always welcome, but please only with advance notice. Accordingly, depending on availability, we will prepare a quieter place for you and your four-legged friend and make sure that you and your dog can enjoy the evening with us. We ask for your understanding, as we are a small restaurant, that you can not take your four-legged friend without advance notice.


If you have any intolerances, allergies or dietary requirements, please ask us in advance already during the reservation (note field). We always try to answer your inquiries as soon as possible within our opening hours.

Please note that we must be informed of any allergies or dietary requirements as early as possible, but no later than 4 working days before the reservation (MI-SA), in order to clarify whether we can implement these accordingly for the selected menu sequence for you. You have the option to specify this directly during the reservation under “Special requests”.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to implement combined allergies as well as dietary requests at our targeted level of taste and quality.


Please note that payments are only possible by the table. Unfortunately, it is not possible to split the invoice into individual items.
